Dr. Lord received a Bachelor’s of Science degree majoring in Biology from the University of Mississippi. He received his Doctor of Optometry Degree from Southern College of Optometry in 1977.
Dr. Lord has been a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) since 1978. He has served as past President, President and Secretary/Treasurer for the Mississippi Optometric Association (MOA). Currently he serves on the Long Range Planning Committee and is Chairman of the Third Party Committee. Dr. Lord served as President of SECO International. He has served as Trustee, Treasurer, Secretary and President Elect of SCO, Southern Council of Optometrists, who provide education for optometrists and optometric staff worldwide through SECO, International.
Dr. Allison Lord joined her father in practice in 2006. She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology and Marine Biology from the University of Alabama in 2002 and earned her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham Optometry School in 2006.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Mississippi Optometric Association, and Southern Council of Optometrists. Dr. Allison serves on the Board of MOA, is the chair of the Exposition Committee, and Co-Chair for UAB on the Assistant to Graduates and Undergraduates Committee. Dr. Allison has served as a volunteer on SECO International’s Exhibits Committee since 2008. She is a member of the Indianola Chamber of Commerce and a 2007 participant in Leadership Washington County. In 2012, Dr. Allison was named Young OD of the Year by the Mississippi Optometric Association.
Dr. Nicholas (Nick) Norris began his optometric career with Delta Eye Center in October, 2014.
Dr. Norris is a native of Cleveland, MS and earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham Optometry School in 2014. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Mississippi Optometric Association and the Southern Council of Optometrist.
